As a landlord [in Wisconsin] I learned the hard way how important lease documents are.  After losing in court I had to get serious about my leases.  A friend suggested I reach out to Corina [CEO of Brio Properties] for one on one coaching on my leases. After 2 sessions with Corina I had a better understanding of how to protect myself without violating state law.  Spending that time with her has been a great return on investment for the little money it cost me.

After my husband left me, I struggled to keep the investments we had bought together afloat.  While I had gotten the properties in the divorce, I didn’t get the expertise my husband had.  I was left with the properties but very little knowledge of how to operate them.  Despite being 4 counties away Brio Properties offered me peace of mind by consulting with me on establishing policies and procedures for my portfolio.  I learned the software to use, how to read income statements, best practices for marketing units, and so much more. Being a wholesaler in a market that you don’t live in presents the challenge of having good boots on the ground.
